if you could give us the file system type on the flash drive that could answer everything.

to encounter the file system, insert information technology into a calculator and open up the backdrop dialog for it. under the name field there will by a field called "type" and and so one beneath information technology labeled "File arrangement". if you could report to use what that reads for the flash drive so we can better advise you on a solution.

the likely situation here is its formatted to NTFS or exFAT and the auto stereo doesn't support that. if that is truthful, then reformatting to FAT32 should solve your problem.

What file format does the stick have? If car only supports FAT32 and your stick is in NTFS, for example, it will non work.

Bank check what the audio organization in the car requires.

Good Luck!

Just it's the actual "operating system" of the flash drive we're out for. Practice you know what information technology is?

Hello James I play all my music off flash drives in my car. The thing is the drive has to be formatted to Fat32 no exfat. Also you lot tin't have folders inside folders. So you can have "Linda Ronstad Greatest Hits" merely that'south it when that opens the music has to exist at that place no inner folder. I really hope this helps. I'1000 having a trouble getting my newer Eagles Albums to Play on the FD funny I can re-create them to a CD and they play.
